Jeffrey T. Kubes is a member of the Board of Directors of Schuyler, Roche & Crisham, P.C. Mr. Kubes has primarily concentrated his practice in the representation of architects, engineers in a wide variety of disputes and claims in mediation, arbitration and litigation. His trial experience includes several verdicts in Cook County and the collar counties. Mr. Kubes has taught trial advocacy and related skills to law students and practicing attorneys at seminars sponsored by various organizations. He is the author of several articles and frequently presents on topics related to design professional liability and construction law. Mr. Kubes obtained his J.D. degree with honors from N.I.U. College of Law in 1981.

Jean M. Prendergast is a shareholder at Schuyler, Roche & Crisham, P.C. She has tried complex jury cases to verdict, and successfully has briefed and argued numerous cases before state and federal courts of review. Ms. Prendergast represents businesses and professionals including lawyers, accountants, architects, engineers and insurance producers. Ms. Prendergast also served as a judicial law clerk for Justice McMorrow of the Illinois Supreme Court and for Justice Theis of the Illinois Appellate Court. Ms. Prendergast will be the President of the Appellate Lawyer's Association in June 2010. Ms. Prendergast is a graduate of Loyola University, Chicago School of Law.

Thomas W. Mulcahy is a partner at Schuyler, Roche & Crisham, P.C. and is a civil litigator whose experience includes trials and appellate matters. He was recently named as one of Illinois' Rising Stars for 2009. Mr. Mulcahy's areas of practice includes the defense of design professionals in a wide range of disputes from contract negotiation to litigating multi-million dollar lawsuits.

Frank D. Zaffere is a partner at Schuyler Roche & Crisham, P.C. Mr. Zaffere's practice is concentrated in the area of business law and includes business formations and reorganizations, contract negotiations, finance, mergers and acquisitions and regulatory matters. Mr. Zaffere earned a B.B.A., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from Georgetown University.

Douglas A. Hanson is a member of the Board of Directors of Schuyler, Roche & Crisham, P.C. and has been practicing in the areas of commercial and residential real estate , general corporate, estate tax planning, probate and trust administration, condominiums and tax law for over 20 years. He represents owners and developers of single family, townhome and multi-family residential properties and commercial and industrial facilities from real estate acquisition to zoning, construction and sales of completed properties. Mr. Hanson, a Certified Public Accountant, received his J.D. degree with high honors from IIT, Chicago-Kent College of Law, valedictorian, and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. He is a member of the Order of the Coif.

Melissa S. Roberts, AAI, Vice President, Euclid Insurance Agencies, Itasca, IL. Melissa has been successfully helping design firms avoid claims, manage their risks and purchase Professional Liability insurance since 1984. She has served as President of a/e ProNet - a national organization of Architects and Engineers Professional Liability brokers, the AIA Northeast Illinois Chapter awarded her their 2000 Service Award for Outstanding Affiliate Member, and her recent articles, The Big Switch - Look Before You Leap When Changing Insurance Companies and Reporting Claims and Potential Claims Under Professional Liability Insurance Policies , were published by AIArchitect and are included in the AIA's Best Practice feature. John P. O'Malley is a Shareholder at Schuyler, Roche & Crisham, P.C. Mr. O'Malley has significant litigation experience in federal and state courts in Illinois and throughout the nation. Mr. O'Malley has extensive experience in the representation of insurance companies and their insureds in litigation involving insurance coverage disputes, with particular emphasis in disputes design professionals and construction claims. Mr. O'Malley graduated with honors from The DePaul University College of Law in 1991, and is a member of the Order of the Coif.
