overview
Michael J. Faley joined Crisham & Kubes in June of 2004. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Faley served as law clerk to the Honorable John J. Bowman in the Illinois Appellate Court. In that capacity, Mr. Faley assisted Judge Bowman in the preparation of opinions and researched numerous legal and equitable topics, including temporary and permanent injunctive relief, malpractice actions, corporate and partnership disputes, insurance coverage and declaratory judgment actions.
Mr. Faley’s practice with Crisham & Kubes, Ltd. concentrates in commercial and civil litigation, including professional liability, personal injury defense, construction law, ERISA, employment litigation, and closely-held corporation disputes.

Mr. Faley graduated from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois.
Mr. Faley also received his certificate of Certified Public Accountant in 1999.

Mr. Faley authored Waiver of Subrogation: A Shield to Legal Entanglements, which appeared in the IADC Newsletter, February, 2005; and Third-Party Discovery - A Downside of the Federal Arbitration Act, which appeared in the April, 2005 issue of the IADC Newsletter.
